We are looking for a well-experienced Finance and Credit Administrator for a well-known events and catering firm, Paramount Eventspace, located at 222 Rowntree Dairy Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 9T2 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Oversee and verify the accuracy and timeliness of client payments, deposits, invoices, and account reconciliations specific to catering and event services.
  • Lead accounts receivable monitoring, proactively manage overdue accounts, and implement credit control strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize risk.
  • Evaluate complex credit applications from corporate, wholesale, and high-value event clients, conduct financial due diligence, and establish appropriate credit terms.
  • Coordinate the matching and verification of purchase orders, client contracts, and invoices to ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial integrity.
  • Prepare and contribute to the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including cash flow analysis, revenue performance, and credit exposure reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready financial records and supervise financial data integrity across accounting and reporting systems.
  • Generate and present detailed financial, credit risk, and performance reports to senior leadership to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Paramount Eventspace’s internal financial policies, tax regulations, vendor agreements, and event contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, catering, operations, and executive teams to align budgeting, pricing, billing, and credit management with business objectives.
  • Provide senior financial insight and recommendations relating to credit risk mitigation, revenue optimization, and financial control enhancements across event and catering portfolios.
  • May perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

Prerequisites:

Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience

Experience: 3 years to 5 years of prior experience in relevant field or equivalent experience

Language: English

 

Hourly Rate: $36 to $38 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
